Venice AI on Solana

A bridge for wallets that think.

The real commands and the real outputs: wallet, Venice credit from USDC, x402 payment, budgeted agent.

One command, one wallet

Node 20 or newer. It creates a Solana keypair in your home folder, prints the address, and tells you exactly what to send to it.

Then: rialto sol fund 5 turns 5 USDC into 5 USD of Venice credit, and rialto chat "..." spends it.

Three spans across the canal

1

A wallet on Solana

rialto sol init creates the keypair. rialto sol status shows SOL, USDC and Canalport. Send USDC to it from any exchange or wallet.

2

Venice credit, from USDC

rialto sol fund 5 tops up your Venice balance straight from Solana USDC through Venice's own x402 top-up. No bridge, no SOL fee, same address billed.

3

Think and pay

rialto chat and rialto agent use that credit for private inference. rialto sol pay <url> pays any x402 endpoint that takes USDC on Solana, under your ceiling.

Tools your coding agent gets

The local MCP server exposes them to Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or any MCP client. Reads need nothing; writes go through your wallet and your confirmation.

  • sol_statusSOL, USDC and Canalport balances of any address, current slot.
  • sol_tokenThe Canalport mint: supply, authorities, largest holders, price and pool.
  • sol_holdersEvery holder, by a full scan of the mint's token accounts. Concentration.
  • sol_burnsBurn instructions found in the mint's recent transactions, with signatures.
  • sol_tradesThe trade tape of the deepest pool: buys, sells, USD size, last hour.
  • sol_stockTokenized stocks on Solana (AAPLx, TSLAx, NVDAx): mint, price, pool.
  • sol_payFetch a URL and pay the 402 in USDC on Solana, under a ceiling and an allowlist.
  • sol_fundTop up Venice straight from Solana USDC. No bridge.
  • sol_sendSend USDC, SOL or Canalport from the agent wallet. Confirmed by you first.
  • sol_burnBurn Canalport from the agent wallet. Supply shrinks for good.
  • venice_chatPrivate, uncensored inference paid from the wallet ledger.
  • venice_web_searchPrivate web search through Venice.
  • rialto_agentThe budgeted reference agent, as a tool.

The Canalport token

One wallet. A measured way across.

Canalport brings the bridge metaphor to wallet-native agents: deliberate spending, clear limits, and private inference.

Questions

Is Canalport an official Venice AI product?

No. Canalport is an independent kit built on Venice's public x402 API. Venice bills the wallet that signs; Canalport holds no key and no credit.

Why Solana?

Fees under a cent, finality in seconds, and Venice accepts USDC on Solana for top-ups directly. The payer needs no SOL: the facilitator pays the transaction fee.

What does a payment look like?

An x402 endpoint answers 402 with the price in USDC. The kit builds a transfer to the recipient, signs it, and the server's facilitator lands it. One request, one receipt, no account.

What are the guardrails?

A per-payment ceiling (maxPaymentUsdg, in dollars), an optional allowlist of hosts the payer may pay, a hard budget per agent run, and a confirmation line on every irreversible command.

Where is the token?

Use only the contract address supplied by official project channels.

Can an agent use it without a human?

Yes, within the limits you set. The MCP tools expose balances, the token, payments and Venice inference; sends and burns are marked irreversible so the agent asks first.

What changed

  • Nov 4, 2026Rialto upstream: Kit 0.11.0: per-tool caps for the agent. rialto agent --cap sol_pay=0.05 --cap venice=0.03 gives each tool its own ceiling for the run: a paying tool is refused once its cap is spent and the remaining cap becomes the ceiling of its next payment, venice stops inference at its cap. The run budget now counts payments too. Also in config as toolCaps, and in the MCP rialto_agent tool. The reference agent now runs on the Solana tools (sol_status, sol_token, sol_holders, sol_stock, sol_pay).
  • Nov 3, 2026Rialto upstream: Solana support. Kit 0.10.0: rialto sol init, status, config, token, holders, burns, trades, stock, send, burn, fund and pay, plus watch. Venice top-ups straight from Solana USDC through Venice's own x402 top-up; x402 payments in USDC with the exact scheme, facilitator-paid fees. Classic Token and Token-2022 mints both work. Local MCP adds the sol_* tools. The new site, this page, is written for Solana; the token section fills in the day the mint goes live.
